At Two Chairs, your Care Team consists of many people:

  • Your matching therapist (also referred to as your consult clinician)
  • Your ongoing therapist
  • Our Care Coordination team

A matching therapist is a licensed clinician extensively trained in matching you with the right ongoing therapist.. They meet with you during your first visit—a 45-minute virtual matching appointment—where they’ll assess your needs, preferences, and goals in order to facilitate a match to one of our in-house therapists who is a good fit for your needs.

Your matching therapist can provide tailored answers to any clinical questions or concerns you may have about therapy or the care experience at Two Chairs.

If, for some reason, your initial match does not feel like a good fit, we encourage you to discuss any concerns or questions with your ongoing therapist directly. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, you can reach out to our Care Coordination team who can help facilitate a new match.
